They announced their engagement in May. The couple were greeted with jubilation as they arrived at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, which was opened especially for the event. Here's a photo of the newlyweds: Sir Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell Shevell wore a flower in her hair and long-sleeved, v-neck, knee-length ivory dress and shoes by her new stepdaughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney. Stella, whose mother is the late Linda McCartney, Paul's wife of 29 years until her 1998 death, also made her dad's navy blue suit for the occasion. McCartney's daughter with Mills, seven-year-old Beatrice, served as the flower girl. Shevell's college-age son, Arlen, was also in attendance at the affair. Famous guests included Barbara Walters (a cousin of Nancy Shevell, interestingly), Paul's brother Mike, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison's widow, Olivia. McCartney and Shevell waved to guests as they left the Town Hall amid a shower of rose petals tossed by guests. For all involved, it was a day to savor. "It was terrific – thank you!" Jobs died yesterday at the age of 56, surrounded by family members in Palo Alto after a long battle with cancer and other issues. Barrack Obama, President of the United States has described Job as the embodiment of the American dream. "Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it", he said. Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple Inc who built and rebuilt Apple over the course of four decades. He reinvented the technology world four or five times, first with the Apple II, a beautiful personal computer in the 1970s; then Macintosh in the 80's which was driven by a mouse and presented a clean screen that made computing inviting. He came up with the iPod in 2001 and the iPhone seven years later. In 2010, he introduced the iPad. Today, no other tablet has surpassed the market share of the iPad which outsold the Mac a year after it was released. Jobs changed the course and fortune of the company twice. There is a MAJOR Rebecca Black crisis on Facebook -- with allegations of deception, identity theft ... and most importantly a smoking hot bikini model ... who happens to be named Rebecca Black.

Turns out, there's more than one person on Earth named Rebecca Black -- one of whom is a self-described, "fitness bikini competitor." And she has the photos to prove it.

Black (bikini) tells TMZ ... sometime in the past week, her friend list on Facebook exploded from 800 friends to 73,000 ... and she had no idea how it happened. Black started getting emails from upset fans of the singer -- accusing her of intentionally hijacking the 14-year-old's page ... but Black (bikini) claims she never tried to steal anyone's identity. 

Black (bikini) insists Facebook is to blame for somehow "merging" her account with Black's (singer) without her permission.

We called Facebook for comment -- so far no word back.

Nancy Grace may actually suck up to judges -- rather than go after them -- in the next few months, because she's signed on to "Dancing with the Stars" ... TMZ has learned.

We're told Grace and her partner met for the first time in Atlanta last week.  This could be another Kate Gosselin situation, where Nancy practices in Atlanta so she doesn't miss her TV show ... then travels to L.A. once a week for the live performance.

So that's what she meant by "The Devil is Dancing Tonight."

Anugerah Planet Muzik 2011 returned to these shores last Friday night after a four-year absence, venturing in Kuala Lumpur in 2008 and Jakarta in 2009, before taking a break last year due to the economic slowdown. 2010 also saw the birth of our very own AnugeraHitz.SG, so it was understandably taxing for Mediacorp Radio‘s Warna 94.2FM & RIA 89.7FM to organise Anugerah Planet Muzik, moreso in Singapore where we do not have the privilege of having mega sponsorships from big companies as what is being enjoyed by our regional counterparts. As such, we have to lower our expectations on seeing more of such big events being organised here. Unless of course if our mainstream media organisations can pool their resources together and give what the consumers would want to see. Anyway, the event celebrated its tenth year in existence, a long way since its inception in 2001 held at the now-defunct Harbour Pavilion. I still remember that 20 January 2001 event like it was yesterday.

Judging from last Friday‘s attendance at the Max Pavilion Singapore Expo where the event was held, I think a working collaboration of such magnitude is still far away from getting materialised. Just imagine, we had one of the best line-ups in Anugerah Planet Muzik history, yet the venue was only about half full. Who should we blame this for??? The economy??? The organisers??? The consumers??? The event venue??? The promotions team??? I’ve said it before and I say it again, we here in Singapore are suckers for free shows, no thanks to the monthly exhibitions at Singapore Expo where we can watch guest artistes performing without paying a single cent. The timing of the event could also have played a small part in not enticing people from attending it. It was only a month ago that we had Maher Zain performing here to a sell-out audience, and tickets to his concert did not come cheap, especially for those who came in big groups or as a family.

I find it extremely odd that even with the likes of Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Afgan, Rossa, M. Nasir, Hady Mirza and Taufik Batisah just to name a few in the stellar line-up, it was difficult to attract bums to seats. Not only that, it is a mystery to me that the event felt more like a Singapore-Malaysia affair with mostly Singaporean and Malaysian artistes in attendance. The Indonesians had their host in Daniel Mananta and performers in Afgan Syah Reza, Rossa, Melly Goeslaw and Sandhy Sondoro, but other than them, only Judika was seen sitting behind Aliff Aziz amongst the audience. No one can deny that the Indonesians produce good music and good talents, but I hope it doesn’t breed a sense of pompous attitude that they do not support an event such as this. At least accept the invitation of the organisers to come and make the effort to meet their fans over here. We already have a sizeable number of Indonesians working or attending school here and it would be nice to meet their fellow countrymen.Read more

She said months ago that she was on the hunt for the perfect, low cut wedding dress, but it looks like Jessica Simpson is still searching for her dream gown. “I don’t have a dress yet,” Simpson told Extra this week when asked about what she might wear to wed fiancé Eric Johnson. But the Fashion Star mentor, who revealed that she will be part of the design process, isn’t worried about finding the right gown. “The dress is going to be amazing,” she assured, which comes as no surprise considering the success of her billion dollar fashion empire. However, the bride-to-be isn’t only focused on finding a dress — she’s determined to make sure everyone is having a blast when the big day finally arrives. “With a wedding, it should be a celebration … we should all be having fun, every single person there,” she said. So when is the celebration? For now, she’s keeping mum. “I’ve heard people throw around dates and not one of them has nailed it,” she joked. “Not even close.”

Vince Young is going to sign a 1-year deal in Philadelphia after being released by the Titans. He wasn’t going to get within smelling distance of competing for a starting job by week 1 with any organization, not after the way things went down in Tennessee at the end, when he walked out of a locker room on his head coach.For Philadelphia, this seems like an excellent move. Sure, nothing may come of it, he may just serve his time on a bench, and move on. The cost is low enough that if Vince Young bounces back, they get a tremendous bargain.
For me, though, this Vince Young signing is a view into sports, and why we like it–that absolute uncertainty that has the potential to spawn great moments, but not always, and never guaranteed. It’s not a movie, where we can sometimes feel like we’ve seen the same script and storyline many times over. It’s not “reality” television, where we know the formulaic mixture of attention mongers that will fill our screen.
Which way will Vince Young go? I don’t know, and it’s on him to decide and change. Maybe this fall from starter to someone that few want, who nobody wants to start, and who can only merit a 1-year deal, will jolt him into making some changes to his attitude. Maybe he can’t do that at this point. We would have thought that might have been the case after what happened back in the 2008 season. He had to work his way back, and wait, until an 0-6 start in 2009 gave him another opportunity. It didn’t take.
There is this. When he played, he was more productive after returning, even though he still had the issues with Fisher and the organization.
